Former President Donald Trump continued to show his support for Americans during a hurricane as Vice President Kamala Harris was busy rubbing elbows with celebrities.
Trump was applauded on social media after his son, Eric Trump, posted that his father had given nearly 300 utility workers free rooms in his hotel as they prepared for Hurricane Milton to arrive on Florida’s shores. Video showed the workers getting their room assignments for their stay at Trump National Doral Miami, a luxury resort and golf club.
“Honored to have 275 incredible linemen from FPL at @TrumpDoral as they get ready to respond to the aftermath of Hurricane #Milton! You are amazing and the Trump Family, and entire state of Florida, appreciates you!” the younger Trump wrote on X. “Enjoy the rooms – they are the best in Florida! Be safe!”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) activated over 50,000 linemen from Florida Power and Light and other companies in advance of the monster storm that eventually made landfall Wednesday as a Category 3 storm near Siesta Key on Florida’s west coast.

“This is another example of the generosity and kindness displayed by the Trump family every single day. They truly care for the American people,” the Trump campaign’s national press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, told The Washington Examiner.
According to its website, the Doral Miami resort has “643 total guest rooms, 14 deluxe suites, 27 premier suites, 2 presidential suites, and 48 spa suites.” Standard room rates begin at $251 per night and deluxe rooms “have either balconies, lanais, or awe inspiring resort views.”
Even amid the raging hurricane’s impending landfall, Trump supporters in Florida found a way to express their love for the former president.

Hey @ABC @NBCNews @CBSNews @cnnbrk @Msnbc Why don’t you cover this. Don’t you think the public should see this? If Harris was doing something like this I know you would be broadcasting this 24/7
