MSNBC’s Morning Joe Scarborough addresses claims he killed an intern at his office

by

MNSBC’s Joe Scarborough wove his personal story about the death of an intern in his office in his morning rant against former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance of Ohio.

The “Morning Joe” host referred to Trump’s “attack” on him in 2020 during his show on Tuesday, bringing up the 2001 death of Lori Klausutis who had been working for the then-congressman when she died in his office. She reportedly had an undiagnosed heart condition and her death was deemed accidental.

Scarborough brought up the incident and Trump’s past remarks during Tuesday’s show as he attacked Vance for “exploiting the grief” of the Springfield, Ohio, parents of 11-year-old Aiden Clark who died in 2023 after a Haitian immigrant ran his school bus off the road.

“I can’t imagine the pain those parents are going through. And then to watch their son, their child used as a political prop, to be lied about, making the pain worse,” Scarborough said.

“This is not personal to me, but this is personal to people I know. When Donald Trump decided to attack me because he didn’t like my COVID coverage and he lied about a woman who worked in my office and claimed that we were involved and that I had her killed,” he ranted.

“And her husband, the widowed husband, begged him to stop lying because of the excruciating pain that it put her parents through and put him through the fact that he had not been able to move on for 25 years because of the lies,” Scarborough continued.

“They could not find rest or peace. And Donald Trump didn’t care. He just kept doing it because he didn’t care what the family thought. He didn’t care what the husband thought. He didn’t care [about] the people whose grief he was only making worse,” the MSNBC host claimed.

  1. The problem with Joe’s stories is that he is so unbelievable about most things that it is hard to believe him about most things. Moreover, both he and Mika went back on their strongest commitments – marriage vows – behind the backs of others that it makes credibility that much more questionable. Remember, Joe spoke strongly of Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities until he no longer could. He lied to the public in a very large way. I think he said “FU” to those who did not believe him. Not a good public figure.

  2. kinda fun watching joe and mika having nervous breakdowns live on tv. but, their on air adultery was cool too
