President-elect Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk wowed a crowd at Mar-a-Lago when they joined in a rendition of “God Bless America.”
Following Trump’s trip to Washington, D.C. where he met with President Joe Biden at the White House, he returned to his Palm Beach, Florida home – dubbed the “Winter White House” during his first administration – and made a surprise visit to the A1Policy conference ging on.
Opera singer Chris Macchio delivered a powerful rendition of “God Bless America” where he was flanked by Trump and Musk who sang along. At least, it seemed like the SpaceX/Tesla CEO was trying to sing along.

Radio host James Golden, aka Bo Snerdley, noted how the moment was “surreal” following Trump’s landslide election victory last week.

At one point during the night, a speaker asked “Where is the George Soros of the right?” according to a video posted online by 18-year-old Trump family friend, Bo Loudon.
After a few seconds, it appeared Musk realized the attention was on him and he raised his hand to applause.

Trump addressed the crowd at the conference, joking about his epic election victory.
“We just had a big victory, you may have read about it,” he said. “Setting records with practically every voting group, every voting class.””
“It’s the most consequential win in the last 129 years. I just wanted to win! Is there any such thing as too much winning?” Trump added.

The former and future president took to social media to thank Musk heartily for his endorsement and efforts to help. Trump announced this week that Musk and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will lead a new “Department of Government Efficiency.”
“This makes me so happy!” Loudon, a friend of Trump’s 18-year-old son Barron, wrote in a post with a screenshot of the message.
“Elon Musk is a great guy, loaded with personality and ‘brainpower.’ He is definitely a high IQ person, which is the reason that his really strong Endorsement meant so much to me, and to MAGA,” Trump wrote.
