‘Yes he’s a veteran … and?’
You would think that ex-Fox News host Gretchen Carlson would be less ignorant about a former colleague, but when you drink the liberal Kool-Aid, sometimes your eyes turn too green to see. It’s a little-known side effect.
‘From silly diner interviews on Weekend Fox and Friends to Secretary of Defense?’ Carlson posted on X. ‘I never thought I’d say I’m stunned about any pick after the election but nominating Pete Hegseth for this incredibly important role?’
X user Pam Besteder tried to educate the know-it-all. Others were not as polite:
Hegseth’s Fox News run overlapped with Carlson’s for two years before she left the network in 2016 amid a sexual harassment lawsuit she filed against network president Roger Ailes. Carlson has been outspoken against the network since the split.
Maybe she could keep her biases to herself on this one. Hegseth deserves more respect than this, Gretch.
