Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), the US congresswoman most known for her of antisemitism and anti Israeli-sentiment had two words for a pro-Israel protester who confronted her while getting into an elevator at the Capitol Hill this week.
The protest came from the pro-Israeli group US Betar. According to the Daily Mail, the group questioned the Congresswoman as she ignored them, ‘Why do you stand with Hamas? Why don’t you condemn Hamas? Do you like Hamas and Hezbollah?’
As she ran into the elevator, one man yelled to her, ‘Go to Gaza, sweetheart.’
Being the refined and dignified US lawmaker that she is, she responded with “fu*k you’ as the elevator door closed. How eloquent!
According to the report, the group tweeted its own response which included a dark joke about some pagers it has for her.
This is an ugly spat. Maybe she could find something a little more productive to do on our taxpayer dime than stick up for terrorists.
