Fox Business host Larry Kudlow sent a panel of Fox News hosts into shocked laughter over his comments about “heavy-duty petting” going on with President-elect Donald Trump and First Lady Jill Biden in France.

Images of the incoming president sitting with President Joe Biden’s wife in the front row of the ceremony at the reopening of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris went viral. Many commented on Biden’s face as she looked at Trump and the image sparked countless memes on social media.

Kudlow and his fellow “Outnumbered” panelists discussed the first lady and the images of her with Trump as well as wearing red – the color associated with the Republican Party –  during a segment of the Fox News show on Monday.

“Look, all those bad statements she made [about Trump] was before Kamala became the candidate,” he noted as the chatter centered around humorous speculation that Biden had actually voted for the former president.

And I just wanted to go back inside the church for a minute, Molly. Take a careful look at that. That wasn’t nice conversation, that was outright flirtation,” he said.

“Oh my goodness!” exclaimed Harris Faulkner.

“That was almost heavy-duty petting!” Kudlow continued, causing another co-host to cry out,“Oh my God!”

Faulkner later described Jill Biden as someone who gravitates to power.

“You’re not in a White House with a husband who really could have sat down long before that debate on June 27th. Yeah, I’m just going to say it because it’s the truth!” she said. “So she’s gravitating toward power, and the shiniest object in the room at that moment, the one with the really good lighting, Molly, is Donald Trump. So she goes over and she kind of soaks that lighting up.”

“This fondness for power is what I metaphorically called heavy-duty petting!” exclaimed Kudlow.

“Oh! It was a metaphor!” Faulkner laughed along with the other panelists.
