Kamala will spend last week as VP using taxpayers’ money on world junket to tout ‘Biden accomplishments’

by

Vice President Kamala Harris will enjoy her last hurrah jet-setting to other countries.

The failed Democratic presidential nominee will hand American taxpayers the bill as she travels to Europe, Asia and the Mideast in her final days in office. Harris’s trip around the world will reportedly go from Jan. 13 to Jan. 17 and will see her making stops in Bahrain, Germany, and Singapore.

According to the White House:

On January 15, the Vice President will meet with leaders in Singapore and visit Changi Naval Base. On January 16, the Vice President will meet with leaders in Manama, Bahrain and visit Naval Support Activity–Bahrain, the headquarters of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and the U.S. 5th Fleet. On January 17, the Vice President will be in Spangdahlem, Germany to visit the U.S. Air Force 52nd Fighter Wing at Spangdahlem Air Base.

Harris will reportedly be discussing the “accomplishments of the Biden-Harris Administration over the past four years in each region,” the White House noted.

Harris will also talk with world leaders about their partnerships with the U.S., national security interests, and “the contributions of U.S. military forces to regional and global security.”

Her husband, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, will be tagging along for the ride, also on the taxpayer’s dime.

“During their travel, the Second Gentleman will engage with civil society, including religious leaders and families of servicemembers,” the White House noted.

“The vice president continues to believe in a strong U.S. global leadership role because it benefits the security and prosperity of the American people, and she will reaffirm this throughout her trip,” Lieberman said.

Harris has not revealed what her plans are after leaving office in a few short days but her deputy national security adviser emphasized why this one last trip is “important.”

In a written statement, Dean Lieberman said “the vice president felt it important to spend some of her final days in office thanking and engaging directly with U.S. servicemembers deployed overseas, which as she has said, has been one of her greatest privileges as vice president.”

“The vice president continues to believe in a strong U.S. global leadership role because it benefits the security and prosperity of the American people, and she will reaffirm this throughout her trip,” Lieberman said, according to the Associated Press.

Social media users ripped the idea of Harris and her husband giving themselves and the disastrous Biden administration a self-congratulatory pat on the back – and wasting more of Americans’ money in the process.
