Trump: Week 10

by

The White House celebrated another week of “wins” for President Donald Trump and his administration.

“Ten weeks into his second term, President Donald J. Trump keeps delivering transformative wins for the American people — empowering our workers, securing our nation, and cementing our leadership as the envy of the world,” the White House announced.

Some of the key areas of accomplishments this week included pardoning Devon Archer, a former business partner of Hunter Biden.

IMMIGRATION/ SECURITY

A successful operation led to the apprehension of one of the top three MS-13 leaders in the U.S. The arrested illegal immigrant was living in Virginia, just 30 miles away from Washington, D.C.

A major operation in Massachusetts led to the arrest of more than 370 illegal immigrants by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Dozens of ISIS jihadis hiding in a cave complex in Somalia were killed in U.S. airstrikes.

“We continue to mop up the mess left by Biden. For years, terrorists killed Americans with impunity. Now, they are the prey—and we are the hunters,” the White House posted on X.

TARIFFS/ INVESTMENTS

The president signed a proclamation imposing a 25% tariff on foreign automobile imports, getting praise for the “victory” from the United Auto Workers.

“We applaud the Trump administration for stepping up to end the free trade disaster that has devastated working class communities for decades. Ending the race to the bottom in the auto industry starts with fixing our broken trade deals, and the Trump administration has made history with today’s actions,” said UAW President Shawn Fain. “The UAW and the working class in general couldn’t care less about party politics; working people expect leaders to work together to deliver results.”

Rolls-Royce, Schneider Electric, and Hyundai all announced investments in the U.S. Hyundai’s initiatives will mean a $20 billion investment, creating 14,000 new jobs and a new steel plant in Louisiana, which will create nearly 1,500 jobs.

ECONOMY

“Large egg prices have dropped nearly 60% since last month amid the Trump Administration’s efforts to combat the avian bird flu and repopulate the chicken supply,” the White House noted.

“New data showed new home sales rose 5.1% over last year — with median home prices down 1.5% over last year and 3% over January,” it added.

EXECUTIVE ORDERS

The president signed an order this week to make Washington, D.C., “safe, beautiful, and the greatest capital city in the world.”

“America’s capital must be a place in which residents, commuters, and tourists feel safe at all hours, including on public transit. Its highways, boulevards, and parks should be clean, well-kept, and pleasant. Its monuments, museums, and buildings should reflect and inspire awe and appreciation for our Nation’s strength, greatness, and heritage. Our citizens deserve nothing less,” Trump’s order reads.

Trump signed EOs on election integrity and to remove anti-American propaganda from federal museums and national parks, as well as declassifying all FBI files related to “the sham Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”

And Trump’s efforts to eliminate fraud and waste in the federal government continue as the Department of Government Efficiency uncovered many more instances of wasted taxpayer dollars.
