President Donald Trump revealed his thoughts on whether he could ever forgive Elon Musk after the duo’s very public feud.
As Musk wound down his time leading Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, he openly disagreed with the spending legislation that passed the House last month. Words flew, and soon, anger spilled out onto social media in posts that the billionaire Tesla CEO now says he regrets.
Trump spoke about the discord with Miranda Devine for the Pod Force One podcast, responding to a question about whether he would forgive the former “first buddy.”
“I guess I could,” the president said in the White House interview.
“I have no hard feelings,” Trump added. “But I was really surprised that that happened.”
“He went after a bill that’s phenomenal, it’s the best thing we’ve ever signed in this country,” he told Devine. “And when he did that I was not a happy camper. So, it’s too bad.”
After trading insults online, Musk posted overnight Wednesday that he regretted some of the posts he shared on his platform, X.
“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far,” he wrote.

Devine asked the president what he thought could have been wrong with Musk for the explosive outbursts.
“I don’t know what his problem is really, I don’t know,'”Trump replied. “I haven’t thought much about it in the last little while. I think he feels very badly, he said that, actually.”

Forgiveness is a special gift the Lord gives each of us. Afterall, when I confessed my sins and accept His ultimate gift of HIS SON’S death on the cross, HE forgave me of all of my sins.
What Elon really needs is a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. That is what my wife and I have been praying for and will continue praying for him.
