Trump’s DOJ makes bombshell decision as report claims Ghislaine Maxwell wants to sing like a bird

by

British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year prison term, is jumping to make a legal move as Republicans come to blows over the Trump administration’s handling of Jeffrey Epstein‘s child sex trafficking case records.

Maxwell’s lawyers are contesting her charges because of the plea deal Epstein reached with Florida prosecutors in 2008.

In another twist, The Daily Mail is reporting that she is ready to sing like a bird, according to a source not named.

A source tells The Daily Mail: ‘Despite the rumors, Ghislaine was never offered any kind of plea deal. She would be more than happy to sit before Congress and tell her story.

‘No-one from the government has ever asked her to share what she knows. She remains the only person to be jailed in connection to Epstein, and she would welcome the chance to tell the American public the truth.’

In a filing on Monday, Donald Trump‘s Attorney General Pam Bondi’s DOJ responded to the argument saying that the Supreme Court should not take up her case.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if this got kicked up to the Supremes!?

The DOJ’s handling of the Maxwell case sets a precedent for future prosecutions related to sex trafficking and elite corruption. Will justice be served, or will powerful interests continue to shield themselves from accountability? The DOJ must ensure that no one is above the law, regardless of their connections or wealth.

Maxwell’s attorney David Oscar Markus in a written statement said: “I’d be surprised if President Trump knew his lawyers were asking the Supreme Court to let the government break a deal. He’s the ultimate dealmaker—and I’m sure he’d agree that when the United States gives its word, it should keep it. With all the talk about who’s being prosecuted and who isn’t, it’s especially unfair that Ghislaine Maxwell remains in prison based on a promise the government made and broke.”

John Sauer, Trump’s pick for US Solicitor General, called Maxwell’s attorneys out for an ‘implausible reading’ of the law and ‘misplaced’ arguments they made the case for the government to drop her charges.

“That contention is incorrect, and petitioner does not show that it would succeed in any court of appeals,” wrote Sauer.

In the meantime, there is no shortage of drama and opinions coming from every crevice of political society.

Rep. Jamie Raskin and Rep. Dan Goldman, ever eager to score political points, penned a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi demanding more Epstein files be released.

Alan Dershowitz, never one to shy away from controversy, has inserted himself into the Epstein saga yet again. Despite the DOJ’s conclusion that no client list exists, Dershowitz claims otherwise. He asserts he’s seen the list, or at least knows who would be on it, and understands why it’s being suppressed. It’s quite a claim, especially given the official findings.

Dershowitz’s statements directly contradict the DOJ’s findings, which stated unequivocally that no such list was ever found. This contradiction raises serious questions. Is Dershowitz privy to information the DOJ doesn’t have, or is he simply adding fuel to the fire of conspiracy? It’s hard to say, but his claims certainly don’t help to quell the public’s distrust. In Sean Spicer’s conversation with Alan Dershowitz, which was initially released in March and again in July, Dershowitz says he knows Epstein client list names: ‘But I’m bound by confidentiality.’

For the past week, Steve Bannon remains one of the loudest voices is sounding the alarm. He’s making it clear that the GOP’s handling of the Epstein files could have serious consequences. Bannon believes that failing to be transparent could cost Republicans dearly in future elections. The base is watching, and they demand answers. It’s time for the GOP to step up and deliver.

Bannon isn’t just worried about elections; he’s concerned about the integrity of the MAGA movement itself. If the base feels betrayed, loyalty could erode. This isn’t just about politics; it’s about trust. The DOJ’s handling of the Epstein files is under scrutiny, and Bannon is among those criticizing the department. Epstein files controversy is a serious issue.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. Bannon is warning that a failure to release the files could have a ripple effect, impacting the 2026 midterms and even the 2028 presidential election. The base won’t forget if the GOP drops the ball on this. The future of the party, and the country, could depend on how this is handled. Bannon is warning the GOP about the criticizing the department and the FBI.
