Jennifer Lopez, a figure increasingly pushing boundaries with her performances, delivered a rather candid confession during her concert in Italy.
The 55-year-old entertainer, who has been engaging in what some critics describe as increasingly risqué stage antics, shared intimate details about her personal life with the audience at the Lucca Summer Festival. According to The US Sun, Lopez admitted, “I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don’t know about you, but I do — and sometimes I like it hard.”
This personal revelation coincided with sharp criticism from conservative commentator Megyn Kelly. On the same day Lopez was sharing her bedroom preferences, Kelly took to social media to blast the singer, accusing her of adopting the persona of an adult film star due to her recent spate of provocative concerts.
Lopez continued her on-stage monologue, explaining that her desires can vary. “Other days, I am feeling a little romantic,” she stated. “You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow.” She added, “But there’s other days . . . maybe because it’s a new kind of time for me, maybe because it’s summertime and it’s hot outside, I feel a little more naughty.”
The singer reportedly followed up with a chuckle as the crowd responded enthusiastically to her bold statement, asking the audience, “You ever get that feeling? Where you feel like being naughty? On those days, I like it real fast”
The concert also featured Lopez’s new song, “Up All Night,” which shares its name with her current tour. The lyrics of the song appear to taunt a former lover, highlighting what they are now missing out on: “I’m up all night, dancing on somebody, living my best life / I bet you wish that you were by my side / I got tired of you breaking me down / Look at me now.”
Sources suggest that Lopez has amassed enough new material for a full album, with one insider claiming the inspiration stems from her past relationship with Ben Affleck. “Wreckage Of You was so specifically about Ben, and Up All Night points to where Jennifer is at in her life right now. This is a whole new era for Jennifer and she isn’t going to be holding back,” the source revealed.
However, not everyone is embracing Lopez’s “new era.” Megyn Kelly, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), shared a video clip of Lopez performing suggestive choreography with her backup dancers. Kelly expressed her disapproval, captioning the video, “So she’s a soft porn star now,” and sarcastically remarking on Lopez’s “Great choices!”
