Megyn Kelly announces big role for former Trump adviser Hope Hicks in her expanding media company

Megyn Kelly, the prominent conservative media personality and former Fox News and NBC anchor, has appointed longtime political operative Hope Hicks as the Chief Operating Officer of her expanding media venture, Devil May Care Media. The hire marks a significant move as Kelly continues to solidify her independent media brand following a high-profile career in mainstream cable and network journalism.

Hicks brings with her a robust background in both political communications and corporate strategy. She previously held an executive role at Fox Corporation and later served as White House Communications Director during Donald Trump’s first term, becoming one of his most trusted advisors. Since departing the Trump administration, Hicks has worked as a corporate consultant, staying largely out of the public eye until now.

As COO, Hicks will report directly to Kelly and be tasked with managing a growing team behind Devil May Care Media. The company encompasses a range of platforms including The Megyn Kelly Show, which airs as a podcast and YouTube series. Hicks’ role will include overseeing new lines of business and developing strategic partnerships, signaling a planned expansion beyond existing formats.

The hiring comes at a time when conservative media is experiencing a wave of growth and transformation, with many personalities moving away from traditional outlets to build direct-to-audience platforms.
