Melania Trump strikes back, threatens Hunter Biden with billion dollar lawsuit over Epstein smear

by

First Lady Melania Trump has launched a legal offensive against Hunter Biden, threatening a jaw-dropping $1 billion lawsuit over false claims tying her to the disgraced pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The accusation originated from a podcast interview in late July, where liberal author Michael Wolff — notorious for his discredited book Fire and Fury — repeated a baseless rumor suggesting that Epstein was responsible for introducing Melania to then-businessman Donald Trump. Wolff’s unfounded gossip was picked up and parroted by Hunter Biden during a reckless and vulgar appearance on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan earlier this month.

During the interview, Biden falsely claimed, “According to his biographer, Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania, that’s how Melania… the First Lady and the President met.” These defamatory remarks — which Biden delivered without evidence — were immediately blasted by Melania Trump’s legal team.

Alejandro Brito, Mrs. Trump’s attorney, issued a scorching legal letter to Hunter Biden and his counsel Abbe Lowell on August 6, demanding an immediate retraction and apology. “These statements are false, defamatory, and lewd,” Brito wrote, pointing to Biden’s long history of exploiting his last name and the reputations of others for personal gain. The letter accused Biden of using Melania Trump as a pawn to draw attention to himself.

“Given your vast history of trading on the names of others—including your surname—for your personal benefit, it is obvious that you published these false and defamatory statements about Mrs. Trump to draw attention to yourself,” Brito charged in the letter, first reported by Fox News.

As of August 14 — six days past Brito’s deadline — the offensive episode of Channel 5 remains live on YouTube, with no public retraction or apology from Hunter Biden. Meanwhile, the video has been widely shared across digital platforms, compounding the damage to Mrs. Trump’s reputation. Brito emphasized the magnitude of the fallout, stating that the defamatory content had reached “tens of millions of people worldwide” and caused “overwhelming financial and reputational harm” to the First Lady.

Brito’s letter laid out a clear warning: failure to meet these demands would result in Melania Trump pursuing “over $1 billion” in legal damages. “You are on notice,” Brito concluded.

Nick Clemens, a spokesperson from the East Wing, reinforced that Mrs. Trump’s legal team is actively seeking full retractions and public apologies from all parties involved. “The true account of how the First Lady met President Trump is in her best-selling book, Melania,” Clemens reminded the media in a statement to the Daily Mail.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time Melania Trump has successfully pushed back against leftist smear campaigns. Just last week, longtime Democratic strategist James Carville issued a public apology after echoing similar falsehoods about the First Lady on his Politics War Room podcast. “We took a look at what they complained about, and we took down the video and edited out those comments… I also take back these statements and apologize,” Carville admitted.

Even the Daily Beast, no friend to conservatives, was forced to retract the original article spreading Wolff’s baseless gossip.

Hunter Biden’s credibility is, at best, deeply compromised. In his previous appearance on Channel 5, Biden ranted profanely, offered disturbing insights into drug use, and spewed one unhinged remark after another. Now, with his father out of office and his political influence waning, the troubled first son appears to be desperately clinging to relevance by defaming respected public figures.
