House oversight Dems initiate probe into President Trump’s newest son-in-law

Another TDS-driven which hunt? It’s hard to tell, but …

House Oversight Committee Democrats have initiated a formal investigation into Michael Boulos, the husband of Tiffany Trump, over accusations in The New York Times. The explosive report focuses on speculation about “potential corruption, foreign influence, and the Trump family’s ongoing relationship with global elites.”

Boulos, who married Tiffany Trump at a glamorous ceremony at Mar-a-Lago on November 12, 2022, is now under scrutiny for his alleged ties to a Saudi businessman and a $100,000 payment that could point to a larger scheme of using access to the Trump family for personal and financial gain, according to the report. According to The New York Times, Boulos and his cousin, Jimmy Frangi, were reportedly involved in securing an invitation for Saudi businessman Abdulelah Allam to the lavish wedding in exchange for the large sum.

The report claims Frangi promised Allam that the Saudi would be placed at the top of the guest list, allowing him the invaluable opportunity to pose for photos with the Trump family and gain proximity to the former president’s inner circle. “We want you to be at the top of the guest list,” Frangi allegedly told Allam, fueling suspicions that this was more than a simple social invitation—it was, in effect, a transaction.

This alleged “scheme” has infuriated Democrats, who are now demanding answers from Boulos and the individuals involved. House Oversight Committee ranking member Robert Garcia did not mince words, accusing the Trump family of attempting to leverage their connections to enrich themselves personally while possibly jeopardizing national security. “This revelation, if accurate, would represent a corrupt and reckless attempt by the Trump family to leverage proximity to Donald Trump for personal enrichment,” Garcia wrote in a letter to Allam.

He further pressed, “It raises serious questions as to whether financial conflicts of interest have influenced the administration’s foreign policy at the expense of American national security.”

The same Dems who refused to see the blatant influence peddling of the Biden family despite buckets evidence are now going to dig their heels into an investigation into the Trump family. To be clear, if proven true, neither party should get a free pass.

But Garcia’s letter didn’t stop there. He included an extensive list of demands for documents, communications, and any materials related to Allam’s business dealings with Boulos, suggesting that the $100,000 payment could represent a larger pattern of foreign influence attempting to buy access to the president. “Reporting that President Trump’s son-in-law received $100,000 from a Saudi businessman raises serious concerns that corrupt foreign money is being used to buy access to the President and influence American policy,” Garcia’s letter emphasized.

Democrats were also quick to highlight the perceived contradictory statements offered by Boulos and Allam regarding the nature of the transaction. Boulos’ spokesman claimed that the payment was merely a debt settlement from Frangi’s struggling company, with Allam paying Boulos directly to cover the owed amount. However, a spokesperson for Allam described the money as a “loan” to Boulos that he was expecting to be repaid.

Garcia expressed concern that the $100,000 transfer could be a veiled attempt to buy influence with the Trump family. “These actions raise serious questions about whether corrupt financial interests are influencing American policy,” he said, adding that the American people deserved transparency on whether their government was working for their benefit or the benefit of foreign elites.

One of the details buried deep in the Times report, however, was that despite all the efforts to secure an invitation for Allam, the Saudi businessman never even attended the wedding.
