In a now-viral video posted to X, a young liberal woman proudly describes how she has completely cut ties with her own parents—simply because they support former President Donald Trump. The tone, dripping with condescension and ideological purity, has left many viewers stunned by the depth of her coldness and the dehumanizing way she speaks about the very people who raised her.
She begins the video without hesitation: “My brother was in town visiting me recently and we have MAGA parents that we haven’t spoken to in eight years because, again, they’re MAGA parents.” No mention of abuse, estrangement due to harm, or trauma—just politics.
Her brother, at least, appears to hold out hope for reconciliation. “My brother seems to think that’s like, oh, we could agree to disagree. Oh, we can move past it. Oh, we can meet them where they’re at.” But she scoffs at the idea, declaring, “I’m not like that. I don’t feel that way.”
Instead of empathy or even curiosity about what might have shaped her parents’ beliefs, she unleashes a tirade of sweeping accusations. She went to a family dinner only “for his [her brother’s] own benefit,” describing it as “this like weird dinner with my parents.”
What followed is an astonishing demonstration of intolerance and self-righteousness.
Self-centered, psychotic, and wishes her parents were dead because they are conservative.
Insane behaviors. https://t.co/dW9h8Q0EIw

“I was very shocked and also reassured to find that eight years later, zero personal growth has taken place,” she says, as if her parents are broken toys in need of reprogramming. She goes on to sneer, “Just total problematic behavior. Racism, homophobic, fucking sexist, misogynist, the whole nine yards.” No specifics. No context. Just a laundry list of progressive buzzwords used to justify permanent emotional exile.
According to her, her parents are “completely brainwashed,” incapable of “critical thinking,” and her mother’s mental faculties are reduced to the mechanical failings of a broken-down machine: “The gears are kind of trying to grind, but they’re not quite making the cut because the machine is just so very old and outdated.”
It’s not enough for her to reject her parents in life—she looks forward to their passing. “When this whole nightmare is going to be over… it’s when the boomers expire, when the conservative boomers expire. That is going to be the end of it.”
Let that sink in: “Your parents are not coming back. Those people are gone. You may as well go ahead and let that shit go.”
This isn’t political disagreement. This is generational erasure. It’s the disturbing endpoint of hyper-ideological thinking, where family bonds are severed, and death is openly welcomed as a solution to political differences.
In a time when many Americans are working to bridge divides, this young woman offers a chilling vision of the future: a world where love is conditional on ideological conformity, and the old are discarded not just physically, but morally, for daring to think differently.
Maybe try therapy, young psycho!
