Sen. Hirono whines over pull-ups, accidentally admits women are different from men

by

In a moment of pure political absurdity, Democratic Senator Mazie Hirono complained during a Senate Judiciary hearing that it’s “harsh” to expect women applying to the FBI to be able to do pull-ups. Yes, you read that right — she’s actually upset that federal law enforcement officers might be expected to meet basic physical fitness standards.

Testifying before the committee, FBI Director Kash Patel wasn’t having it.

“If you wanna chase down a bad guy and put him in handcuffs,” Patel said bluntly, “you better be able to do a pull-up.”

The exchange was sparked by Hirono’s concerns that the physical fitness test could be too “harsh” for women.

“The reason I ask,” Hirono began, “is that there are concerns about whether or not being able to do these kinds of harsh pull-ups is really required of FBI agents.”

Patel’s response was swift and unapologetic: “Doing one pull-up is not harsh.”

Let that sink in. While cities across the country face rising crime, the Democrats’ priority is making sure federal agents aren’t expected to do… a single pull-up?

This exchange inadvertently blew a hole in the Left’s narrative. By labeling pull-ups as “harsh” for women, Hirono openly admitted what conservatives have said for decades: there are biological differences between men and women. Incredible how that only becomes “okay to say” when it helps lower standards.

What’s even more disturbing is that a sitting U.S. Senator seems more concerned with woke optics than public safety. If FBI agents can’t perform the most basic physical task, how can we expect them to do their jobs — chase suspects, scale obstacles, and protect the public?

Senator Hirono’s line of questioning was more than just tone-deaf — it was embarrassing. Thankfully, Kash Patel brought the sanity.
