Ivanka’s first crush? A Trump-hating rockstar turned woke loudmouth, says brother Eric

In a revelation that’s both amusing and ironic, Eric Trump shares that his sister Ivanka once had a teenage crush on none other than Axl Rose, the now anti-Trump frontman of Guns N’ Roses. Yep, the same guy who’s made a second career out of bashing the Trump family from the safety of his Twitter account.

In his new memoir Under Siege, released October 14, Eric pulls back the curtain on some Trump family moments—including a few that might make leftists squirm. One anecdote: Ivanka’s first crush was Axl Rose, the bandana-clad rocker who was the face of rebellious cool in the late 80s and 90s.

“She had a signed Axl Rose poster in her room in Trump Tower—her first crush, with tattoos, the trademark bandanna tied around his head, ripped jeans, and leather jacket,” Eric writes.

Ivanka, now a poised and successful businesswoman and former White House advisor, was just a teen during Guns N’ Roses’ heyday. She grew up listening to tracks like Paradise City and November Rain—the latter of which, amusingly, was playing on Trump Force One during a flight on Election Day, as Eric recalls.

Ivanka graduated from the prestigious Choate Rosemary Hall in 2000, the same era her beloved Axl was beginning his descent into anti-establishment Twitter activism.

While Ivanka may have had a poster of Axl on her bedroom wall, Axl’s recent takes have been far from complimentary. He’s spent the better part of the last decade launching juvenile potshots at her father—and even Ivanka herself.

Back in December 2016, during a concert in Mexico City, Axl allowed fans to smash a piñata made to look like President Trump. A class act, right?

Then in 2018, when Ivanka was asked in an NBC interview about accusations against her father, she defended him, saying:

“I think it’s a pretty inappropriate question to ask a daughter if she believes the accusers of her father when he’s affirmatively stated there’s no truth to it.”

Naturally, Axl couldn’t resist throwing a fit on Twitter. He fired back:

“What’s inappropriate is Ivanka Trump being part of the White House administration.”

Because nothing says rock ‘n’ roll rebellion quite like subtweeting a woman for working in government.

Axl’s meltdown continued into 2020, when he tried (and failed) to stay relevant by ranting about Trump’s administration. In one of his longer social media tirades, the rocker confessed:

“My disdain 4 r current administration n’ what I perceive as its threat to r democracy is no secret…”

He insisted his tweets weren’t self-promotion (sure), but rather came from a sense of “outrage, obligation n’ responsibility.” Just your average millionaire rockstar raging from his mansion.

Oh, and who could forget Guns N’ Roses’ “Live N’ Let Die with COVID 45” T-shirt—because turning a global pandemic into merch is always a classy move.

Meanwhile, Eric Trump’s memoir, Under Siege, gives readers a firsthand look inside the Trump orbit—from the glitz of The Apprentice to the intensity of campaign rallies. According to its official description, the book provides “an unfiltered look at the highs and lows of life in the Trump world.”

President Trump himself took to Truth Social this week to endorse the book:

“Don’t forget to get a copy of my son Eric’s book, ‘UNDER SIEGE,’ which is breaking records everywhere. It’s a phenomenal book that’s a must-read for everyone. Congratulations Eric, you deserve it!!!”

Ivanka’s teen crush may have been Axl Rose, but judging by his recent tantrums, it looks like he’s the one who can’t let go of the Trumps.
