Somalian Minnesota deputy dismisses native officers, brags that he was hired to take care of Somalians

by

Minnesota is making headlines again—and not for reasons that reassure law-abiding Americans. A viral video shows a Hennepin County deputy, reportedly speaking to a crowd in a foreign language, openly declaring who he believes deserves his protection. And here’s the kicker: it’s not the broader American community he swore an oath to serve.

While many online posts mislabeled him as “sheriff,” the truth is almost as troubling—he’s a sworn deputy, entrusted with enforcing U.S. law. Yet the captions circulating alongside the clip paint a picture of a man proudly pledging loyalty to something other than the United States. Observers noted his tone was divisive, boastful, and far from modest, raising alarms across Minnesota communities already grappling with cultural and political fractures.

And let’s address the elephant in the room:
If the deputy was himself resettled in America as a Somali refugee, how does he stand in front of a crowd and call others “foreigners”? The irony is impossible to ignore. Does “foreigner” simply mean “non-Somali” to him? And if so, what does that suggest about how he views white Minnesotans, other minority groups, or even fellow deputies who aren’t part of his ethnic enclave?

Residents are now asking hard questions lawmakers refuse to touch:
Are non-Somali deputies unwelcome in certain neighborhoods?
Are there “informal rules” applied only within Somali-majority areas?
Is there selective enforcement happening behind the scenes?

The deputy’s own words—and the reaction from the community—suggest that special accommodations may be occurring under the radar, especially when it comes to language, enforcement expectations, and cultural preferences. Minnesota taxpayers deserve transparency, not tribal loyalty pledges disguised as community outreach.

Commentators aren’t holding back.
John Ferguson (@JohnnyWhiskyTX) sounded the alarm bluntly:

“This is Islam in America. Where Muslim Somali police say they are ‘Somalia first’ and not US
THIS IS A CLEAR INVASION & SUBVERSION OF U.S. Americans have no idea how bad the problem is and these jihadists know it
Warning signs are everywhere”

Another voice, Spike (@spikesguides), drew a stark comparison that many Minnesotans privately fear:

“One day this state will look and function like South Africa. It may take a generation or two, but it’s coming. Without major interventions or shifts, the twin cities are going to mirror Joburg.”

This is the heart of the issue: A U.S. law-enforcement officer—a uniformed representative of American authority—pledging apparent allegiance to an ethnic community over the nation he serves. Minnesota’s leaders can pretend everything is fine, but everyday Americans see exactly what’s happening.

Minnesota doesn’t have a “diversity issue.”
It has a loyalty issue—and this viral video may be the clearest warning yet.
