MTG outs ‘fake pro-MAGA’ Congressman she says secretly hates Trump, mocks him behind his back

According to firebrand former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the real drama is happening behind closed doors — and it’s uglier than voters might suspect.

Appearing on Tucker Carlson’s show this week, Greene didn’t hold back, torching members of her own party as sellouts who’ve traded principle for piles of donor cash. Her blunt diagnosis? Follow the money.

“They’re bought and paid for. They do not represent the American people or the American people’s interest, and it’s because they’re funded that way,” Greene charged, painting a picture of a GOP establishment she says is more beholden to big donors than to voters back home.

She singled out New York Rep. Mike Lawler — and what she described wasn’t just political disagreement. It was, in her telling, outright contempt for Donald Trump.

“There are Republican members of Congress that never had good intentions, ever, ever,” she said. “And they came into the House of Representatives already completely supported and propped up and funded by this nasty entanglement I’m talking about in Washington.”

Greene claimed she witnessed Lawler’s rise firsthand — and what she saw raised red flags immediately.

“I remember specifically when Mike Lawler came in, and he was welcomed in by everybody… one of the most critical races… we were told it was so important to win this district,” she recalled.

But behind the glowing endorsements and donor enthusiasm, Greene says something didn’t add up.

“He instantly had more support from pretty much every fundraising mechanism that there is in Washington, D.C. that supports Republicans,” she said, sounding stunned even in hindsight. “He had more help than I could have ever dreamed of having.”

Greene claims Lawler privately trashed Trump long before he publicly embraced him.

“He hated Donald Trump, made fun of him constantly, mimicked him, making fun of his voice,” she alleged. “He used to attack me… make fun of me for supporting Donald Trump.”

According to Greene, this wasn’t a one-off jab — it was a pattern that played out over years, well before Trump’s 2024 comeback victory.

At one point, she said, she wondered if Lawler had wandered into the wrong party entirely.

“I was like, he’s literally a Democrat,” she said. “He’s so against all the things that Republican voters care about, and he clearly hates Donald Trump.” Greene says the moment Trump locked down the 2024 nomination, Lawler’s attitude did a complete 180.

“I saw this unbelievable change in him… all of a sudden, Mike Lawler… was becoming Trump’s biggest supporter,” she said.

Her nickname for him? “MAGA Mike Lawler.”
