BS BULLETIN:
- Jelly Roll heard the MAGA backlash over his Trump roast — and came back for more Tuesday night.
- The country star mocked fans who were stunned, saying roasting the president is what happens when you host a late-night show.
- And to anyone threatening to stop listening to his music? “Go right ahead.”
Jelly Roll apparently has no plans to make nice with the Trump fans he ticked off Monday night.
The country star returned for his second night guest-hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday and almost immediately addressed the uproar over his Trump jokes — while tossing a few more in for good measure.
Jelly Roll doubled down with more anti Trump jokes and then ended with this! 👇

“I did a couple of jokes like that last night, in case y’all didn’t hear about it, and it’s because I’m hosting a damn late-night show,” Jelly Roll told the Kimmel audience. “That’s where you talk about the news and you make jokes.”
Then he laughed at the idea that this was what finally shocked people about him.
“As a former felon and drug dealer who has lost 300 pounds, has tattoos all over his face and won three Grammys, this is the weirdest thing I’ve ever done to ‘stun’ people,” he joked.
The reaction came after Jelly Roll’s Monday monologue blindsided some fans who apparently thought the country singer was part of the MAGA camp.
He went after Trump’s weight, approval ratings and appearance at an IndyCar race — at one point joking that after losing 300 pounds himself, “I’ve lost an entire Donald Trump.”
By Tuesday, Jelly Roll was making it clear the outrage hadn’t scared him off.
“Any U.S. president should be able to handle a few jokes, right?” he told the audience before adding another shot about presidents being expected to handle gas prices, health care and international conflicts.
Then came his answer for Trump supporters wondering why Kamala Harris wasn’t getting the same treatment: “If you wanted me to make jokes about Kamala Harris, you should have voted for her.”
And Jelly Roll saved his sharpest response for fans threatening a boycott. “For those who threatened to stop listening to my music based on my comments last night, I just want to say with conviction, go right ahead,” he said, before ending with a Post Malone joke.
So much for cooling things down.
MY QUICK TAKE
Jelly Roll knew exactly what kind of reaction those first Trump jokes produced — and instead of backing away, he walked onstage the next night and poked the bear again.
Fair enough. He can tell whatever jokes he wants.
But fans can also decide whether they still want to buy the tickets and stream the songs.
Something tells me Jelly Roll is about to find out just how many of them took that “go right ahead” invitation seriously.
