Melania Trump stood out among other first ladies as they sat in the front row attending the funeral of Rosalynn Carter.
The wife of former President Donald Trump took her place alongside the group of women that included Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, and current first lady Jill Biden to pay tribute to their predecessor Rosalynn, the wife of former President Jimmy Carter. Rosalynn Carter passed away on November 19.
Trump earned high praise for just being there in the “lion’s den” of Democrats who have maligned her and her husband.

“Thank you all for coming and acknowledging this remarkable sisterhood you share with my grandmother,” Carter’s grandson Jason Carter said during the ceremony. “And thank you all for your leadership you provided for our country and the world.”
The women wore various outfits in somber black while Trump opted to wear a gray tweed coat, black shoes, and leather gloves.
