Bill Clinton is mistaken for Joe Biden at humiliating McDonald’s campaign stop

by

Former President Bill Clinton was in Georgia campaigning for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris but that was news to one McDonald’s employee.

In a video posted on X by a Harris supporter, Clinton was seen at the counter of one of the fast food chain’s locations. It was evidently a surprise visit for the staff and customers and one employee made a brutal error.

“BREAKING: Bull Clinton is at a McDonalds in Georgia encouraging voters to support Kamala Harris. It’s all hands on deck in the last couple of weeks. Retweet to make sure all Americans see this incredible moment,” the X account shared but did not mention the faux pas that transpired- or notice the misspelled name in the caption.

Clinton, in a blue jacket with “USA” printed on the back, approached the counter but the employee failed to recognize him as the 42nd president of the United States.

“Are you Joe?” she could be heard asking as they reached out to shake hands across the counter.

“Though it is not completely clear, as Clinton is partially turned away from the camera, it seems he tells the woman, “I’m Bill.”

The realization seems to dawn on the woman who excitedly repeated his name and jumped from around the counter to come and give him a hug. She could be heard asking her co-workers to take a picture of her with the former president, exclaiming, “This is Bill, y’all!”

Clinton’s love for McDonald’s during his tenure at the White House was so well-known that “Saturday Night Live” did a comedy sketch about it with Phil Hartman playing the Democrat who visited the burger chain and ate customers’ food.

Mount Zion Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia welcomed Clinton on Sunday as he came through the Peach State to drum up support for Harris.

“Uniting people and building, being repairers of the breach, as Isaiah says, those are the things that work,” Clinton told the congregation. “Blaming, dividing, demeaning – they get you a bunch of votes at election time, but they don´t work.”

On social media, X users reacted t the viral moment the McDonald’s worker thought Clinton was President Joe BIden.
