Mar-a-Lago gala mic drops: Sly Stallone’s epic intro, Trump’s five-word warning to RFK Jr., lib-triggering proposal

President-elect Donald Trump basked in his election victory at a gala event at his Palm Beach, Florida home.

The incoming president was introduced by actor Sylvester Stallone who called him the “second George Washington” at the America First Policy Conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday night. Trump spoke about his landslide victory and proposed beginning his term earlier than the January inaugural. The former and future president also spoke to many allies of the MAGA movement and gave Robert F. Kennedy a word of caution after nominating him to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

“So we swept all swing states, we won the popular vote. Oh I love that,’ Trump said.

‘You know in my first term, they said, ‘He won the election – he didn’t win the popular vote’ – that’s what they say, who even knows if it’s true or not,” Trump said. “But we won the popular vote by records: no one can say that anymore about us.”

He celebrated the Senate and the House being under a GOP majority and then addressed Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.

“Mr. Speaker, I think it’s important maybe you should pass a bill. You have to start my term from November 5… because the market’s gone through the roof, enthusiasm has doubled,” he joked.

The star-studded event included many of Trump’s administration picks such as Tulsi Gabbard, Rep. Matt Gaetz, and South Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, as well as Elon Musk, Kellyanne Conway, Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump Jr. and former NBA star Enes Kanter Freedom.

‘Today I nominated him for, I guess, if you like health and you like people that live a long time, it’s the most important position,’ Trump said about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“Don’t get too popular, Bobby,” he told the former Democrat. “You know, you’ve reached about the level. We want you to come up with things and ideas and what you’ve been talking about for a long time, and I think you’re going to do some unbelievable things. Nobody’s going to be able to do it like you, and boy does he feel it in his heart.”

Stallone began his remarks by bringing up the opening scenes of “Rocky” as he compared Trump to a “mythical character.”

“This individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody could’ve pulled off what he pulled off so I’m in awe,” the 78-year-old star said of the president-elect.
