The way Rachel Maddow attacked and attempted to denigrate Tulsi Gabbard in a recent MSNBC rant is indefensible, Bo Snerdley said in a tweet.
“Gabbard volunteered in the military after the 9-11 terrorist attacks and has served this country honorably and with distinction,” he continued.
“Maddow also insulted Walmart greeters in a disgusting fashion. NBC Network should be ashamed and embarrassed to let the attack on an American military member stand. There should be consequences.”
Steve Bannon played the inexcusable clip and addresses Maddow directly:
“She has a security clearance, ma’am, and it has nothing to do with Walmart. And if I was you, ma’am, I would watch what you say about people. When you go after and smear someone who’s put their life on the line when you’ve done nothing! You sat on your ass up there at your big house in Connecticut, ya know, with your friends and your elitists. You’ve done nothing for this country… all you’ve done is try to destroy this country and the people in this country.
“And you are not going to sit there and say a hero like Tulsi Gabbard –are you going after her because she’s a woman of color? Is that what it is,” he continues. You think you can talk like that because she’s a woman of color? Or she’s not a lesbian, is that the case?”
