U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters tried forcing her way into another government building to protest cuts being made by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The California Democrat was outside the Housing and Urban Development headquarters for a rally on Monday after DOGE proposed cutting half of federal workers at the nation’s housing agency. But Waters wanted to meet with HUD Secretary Scott Turner to deliver a letter in person and was met with staff who dropped a reality check on her plans.
“Elon Musk’s 13 children sleep good at night. What happens to the other children in America?” Waters demanded.

Waters and her Democrat sidekicks repeatedly tried to deliver the letter to Turner personally but security and staff politely informed the group that the secretary was”unavailable” as he was in a meeting.
“That’s ok, I could stay all night,” Waters declared when told she might be waiting “a while” for Turner’s meeting to end.
The icing on the cake was when the Democrats were told to watch a video of President Donald Trump’s accomplishments while they waited.

Waters reportedly claimed she was told that Turner was “too busy” to meet with the Democrats.
Congresswoman Waters said she didn’t actually get to deliver the letter. She was stopped after getting past initial security.

Others also tried to enter the building, like Rep. Rashida Tlaib who displayed her usual classless behavior.

HUD spox on Dem CA Rep Waters protesting DOGE cuts at HUR today: The Department appreciates the Congresswoman’s interest in DOGE. While she has questions for the Department about how it is efficiently and effectively using taxpayer dollars, the Department also has questions for…

Waters and her troupe were reportedly unable to deliver their anti_DOGE letter after all but the entire scene made for some memorable photo moments.
It’s so funny when these losers realize just how little power they have😂
