FAFO: Vulgar Texas student arrested, ‘picked the wrong school to taunt the death of Charlie Kirk’

by

Lubbock, TX – A disturbing scene unfolded Friday evening on the campus of Texas Tech University, as a student brazenly celebrated the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, prompting outrage, arrests, and condemnation from officials including Governor Greg Abbott.

The incident occurred during a peaceful candlelight vigil held in Kirk’s memory by a group of conservative students. But the gathering was violently disrupted by Camryn Giselle Booker, 18, a freshman at the university. Booker was caught on video leaping in the air and chanting vulgarities at mourners, yelling, “F* y’all homie dead, he got shot in the head,”** in direct reference to Kirk’s assassination just days earlier at Utah Valley University.

Footage circulating online shows Booker aggressively confronting a male student wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, shoving her phone into his face as he calmly asked her to step back.

“You walked up to me. I don’t want this. I said ‘Rest in peace,’” the man says, only to be met with Booker’s defiant response: “OK and I can do this too.”

When another woman off-camera attempted to de-escalate the situation, Booker escalated further, accusing her of being racist.

“You’re calling me aggressive because I’m a Black woman,” Booker declared, despite the calm tone used by the other attendees. The man and woman firmly denied the accusation, continuing to ask her to back away peacefully.

Witnesses say Booker’s disruptive behavior soon turned physical. According to multiple attendees, Booker began shouting slurs, calling mourners “fascists,” and at one point, pushed both an elderly veteran and a young mother holding her child. The scene devolved into chaos, spilling into the street before police intervened.

Authorities arrested Booker on charges of battery, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and cited her for assault. She was released the following day on a $200 bond, according to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office.

Rumors of her expulsion from Texas Tech have since circulated online, though the university has not issued an official statement confirming disciplinary action.

In response to the viral footage, Governor Greg Abbott minced no words:

“Booker definitely picked the wrong school to taunt the death of Charlie Kirk.”

He later shared a photo of Booker in handcuffs, captioning it with the blunt acronym “FAFO”—a popular shorthand for “F* around and find out.”**

Booker’s arrest is not the only case of far-left aggression following Kirk’s tragic death. Over the weekend, Ryder Corral, 19, was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona, after storming and vandalizing a memorial to Kirk outside the headquarters of Turning Point USA, the conservative organization Kirk founded.

Corral was subdued by bystanders after kicking over flowers, flags, and balloons, and was charged with criminal damage and disorderly conduct.

Police say Corral was wearing the same clothing worn by Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old suspected of assassinating Kirk. The chilling wardrobe match has raised questions about the motive behind Corral’s actions.

Conservative leaders and commentators have decried the growing hostility toward free speech and political diversity on college campuses—hostility that many argue was fully displayed in these disturbing incidents.

As investigations continue, supporters of Charlie Kirk nationwide are calling for stronger protections for conservative students, and accountability for those who would use violence to silence their beliefs.
