Relative of alleged assassin’s roommate reveals how much he ‘hated Conservatives and Christians’

by

ST. GEORGE, Utah — New revelations have emerged in the chilling case of the alleged plot to assassinate conservative leader Charlie Kirk, with a family member of the suspect’s trans roommate pointing to a toxic mix of anti-Christian, anti-conservative sentiment as key traits of their relative that may have influenced the suspect’s descent.

According to an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, a relative of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson’s roommate, whose identity has not been officially released by authorities —  described how he had become increasingly hostile toward conservative values in recent years, particularly after entering a romantic relationship with Robinson.

The roommate has not been charged and is reportedly currently transitioning from male to female. The two lived together in St. George, Utah, where both of their families also reside.

“He hates conservatives and Christians,” said the family member, who requested anonymity. “He hated us. He was not raised that way, but he, over the years, has become really detached [and] been radicalized.” He’s “always very angry.”

The woman told Fox that the drastic behavioral shift began when he turned 18, intensifying during the year he spent with his newest partner. She believes the relationship may have fueled Robinson’s radicalization.

“I think Tyler got a whole lot worse in the year they have been dating,” she said. “They are big gamers, and obviously they have that group that influences them as well as others. But my gut tells me [the roommate] did more of the influencing.”

Federal agents searched the apartment shared by Robinson and his roommate as part of the investigation. According to a source with the FBI, the transgender roommate has been “extremely cooperative” with authorities and claims to have had “no idea” of Robinson’s plans.

Still, the roommate’s family remains shaken and deeply concerned about the ideological shift they say may have played a critical role in what became a politically motivated act of violence.

“Everybody in my family wants justice to be served and wants no part in this,” the family member said. “We want whoever is involved in whatever way to have to pay for that.”

This case shines a disturbing light on the radicalization of young Americans — especially those influenced by fringe online communities and extreme ideologies that vilify Christianity and conservatism. While mainstream media often downplays such narratives, conservatives have long warned that unchecked identity politics and leftist activism can incubate hatred and, in the worst cases, violence.

As the investigation continues, many on the right are calling for a closer look into the political and ideological environments that foster these dangerous beliefs.
