The Donald Trump White House has published the list of donors underwriting the massive new ballroom—no taxpayer dollars required. The funding is coming from major companies and wealthy individuals who believe in the mission, but don’t hold your breath waiting for the haters to be satisfied.
As demolition begins on the old East Wing of the White House to make way for this advanced new space, the donor list was officially confirmed.
Trump told reporters that the project will cost about $300 million, an increase from the previous estimate of $200 million. He declared:
“Over the years many presidents have made changes. This obviously would be the biggest change. But this is something they’ve wanted for at least 150 years.”
And yes—the changes are being backed privately. Among the prominent donors: major tech firms (Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Meta), defense and infrastructure players (Lockheed Martin, Caterpillar, Booz Allen Hamilton), big energy and finance names, and high‐net‐worth individuals like Stephen A. Schwarzman and Paolo Tiramani. The White House hosted a dinner last week in honor of these supporters.
This is about building something grand. Trump made clear the new ballroom will accommodate large events—something the White House has lacked—and will reflect dignity and strength, not weakness.
So to the liberal critics: The donor list is public, the question is answered, and the next grievance awaits. Meanwhile, those who believe in American renewal, in strength, in grandeur, will take note: this is how you build—without putting the burden on everyday Americans.
Many of these companies are already aligned with the administration’s agenda—so yes, they’re stepping up. The full donor list (as released by the White House) reads:
