‘Get off your fat a**’: Congressman tells off group of obese TDS-ravaged Tik-Tokers

by

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) isn’t one to mince words, and this week he proved it again—directing a blunt message to a group of TikTok users who filmed themselves flipping off President Donald Trump while blaring the vulgar rap track “Fck Donald Trump.” The group proudly captioned their video: **“Fck Donald Trump all the way around !!!!”**

Although the clip barely registered on TikTok, it spread once reposted on X, Elon Musk’s platform, where political agit-prop tends to go viral. One repost falsely claimed the group was reacting to supposed “work requirements for food stamps,” a claim with no evidence behind it. Burchett didn’t hesitate, firing back: “Get off your fat ass. I am tired of carrying you.”

Predictably, the Left feigned outrage. Just weeks earlier, the Tennessee conservative publicly challenged Senate Democrats for weaponizing essential programs during Washington’s budget brinksmanship. As Democrats dragged the country toward a shutdown that threatened to freeze assistance for tens of millions of Americans, Burchett blasted the tactic: “Pain should not be leverage.”

He didn’t just issue statements. He suspended his own campaign fundraising, urging supporters to donate to local food banks instead. “While the Democrats play games with the #SchumerShutdown, Americans suffer,” he wrote, underscoring his insistence that real families—not political theatrics—should come first. He also visited a food bank in Tennessee to highlight the stakes for families who rely on SNAP benefits.

The shutdown—the longest in U.S. history—finally ended when eight Senate Democrats broke with their party and joined Republicans to reopen the government.

So when Burchett confronted a group of TikTok activists reveling in anti-Trump vulgarity, his frustration didn’t come out of nowhere. To many conservatives, his message resonates: America is tired of online performative outrage, tired of able-bodied adults acting like victims, and tired of a political climate where those who contribute least yell the loudest.

  1. These people need food stamps? They do not appear to have missed a meal in what? 5 minutes? Sad.
