‘Write out your bullet points here’: Jasmine Crockett’s campaign launches embarrassing website

by

Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett wants voters to believe she’s “Texas Tough.” But before her Senate campaign even finds its footing, her website told a very different story — sloppy, rushed, and riddled with errors.

The 44-year-old congresswoman, a nationally known liberal firebrand and vocal critic of Donald Trump, launched her Senate bid just two months ago. Almost immediately, her campaign website raised eyebrows — and not in a good way.

Under the slogan “Crockett Texas Tough,” the site laid out her so-called priorities. But instead of polished policy proposals, visitors were greeted with a glaring web-design placeholder that somehow made it all the way to publication.

One bullet point, meant to address mental health coverage, originally read in full:

“Requiring all major insurance providers to include full mental healthcare coverage, including prescription medications and therapiesWrite out your bullet points here. Anything from a sentence to a paragraph works.”

Yes — “Write out your bullet points here.” The kind of text normally deleted before a website ever goes live.

Senior CNN reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere spotted the blunder before the campaign quietly fixed it. The revised version now simply reads:

“Requiring all major insurance providers to include full mental healthcare coverage, including prescription medications and therapies.”

That wasn’t the only slip-up. Online sleuths also noticed that Crockett’s team had accidentally inserted a bullet point praising her gun control work into the Social Security section of the site — another error later corrected without explanation.

Once screenshots began circulating, social media lit up.

One user on X mocked the campaign, writing:

“Hot mess Jasmine Crockett’s messy website.”

Another piled on:

“A very serious campaign that is definitely trying to win and not grift.”

The website fiasco is just the latest headache for Crockett, whose political brand is built less on legislation and more on viral moments and inflammatory rhetoric.

She’s drawn national attention for branding Donald Trump “Temu Hitler” and referring to his supporters as “mentally ill.” She also went viral for calling Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene a “bleach blonde bad built butch body.” Greene, once a Trump ally, has since announced her resignation from Congress following internal GOP battles.

Crockett entered the Senate race in December after former Rep. Collin Allred opted to run for the House instead, saying he wanted to avoid a messy Democratic primary and a possible runoff if no candidate secured a majority in the March 3 vote.

Crockett is now set to face Rep. James Talarico in the Democratic primary. The winner will challenge either Republican Sen. John Cornyn or a GOP rival such as Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

But beyond the rhetoric and website mishaps, Crockett’s personal finances have also come under scrutiny.

In November, Federal Election Commission filings revealed her campaign spent at least $75,000 on upscale hotels, transportation, and security last year.

That same month, court records showed Crockett had refused to pay more than $3,000 tied to an unpaid lien on her luxury Dallas condominium.

According to Fox News Digital, Crockett has owed $3,047.79 to the Westside Condominium Association for over a year. A lien filed on April 11, 2024, states she remains in default.

The filing reads that Crockett:

“is in default in her obligation for payment of assessments and has failed and refused and continues to fail and refuse, despite demand upon her, to pay the Association assessments and related charges properly levied against the Property.”

The lien prevents her from selling the property until the debt is paid.

Crockett purchased the condo in May 2014. The unit has been marketed as a “refreshing retreat,” complete with a clubhouse, pool, upscale kitchens, and bathrooms “designed with spa-like features,” according to listings for Westside Condos.

As Crockett pitches herself as a champion of working Texans launched a campaign struggling to meet even basic standards.
