MTG Erupts at Benny Johnson in MAGA Civil War: ‘LYING Scumbag!’

by

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and conservative influencer Benny Johnson detonated into an all-out online war Wednesday, torching what was once a cozy alliance and exposing the increasingly ugly fractures inside Trump-world.

The blowup started after Johnson used his massively followed show to hammer Rep. Thomas Massie, the libertarian-minded Kentucky Republican who has lately become one of President Donald Trump’s biggest GOP irritants.

Johnson blasted Massie as a “pig” while discussing allegations from a former girlfriend who reportedly claimed the congressman offered hush money ahead of a looming primary election. Massie has flatly denied the accusations, and many conservatives immediately smelled a conveniently timed political hit job.

Greene — one of Massie’s closest allies during her time in Congress — wasn’t about to sit quietly while a fellow MAGA media star dragged him through the mud.

Responding to a clip of Johnson’s show, Greene accused the influencer class of turning conservative politics into a paid propaganda machine.

“This is a clinic on how to call out the lies of social media influencers that get paid to spew propaganda,” she wrote.

Then the Georgia firebrand went personal.

“@bennyjohnson who I thought was a friend, couldn’t even give me the courtesy of asking me if any of these lies were true,” Greene posted, adding that outlets like TMZ and the Daily Mail had allegedly reached out for comment while Johnson did not.

She also defended Massie directly, writing that he “did not mistreat any woman” and suggesting the accusations surfaced because “he happens to have a primary next week.”

In true internet-warrior fashion, Johnson came back swinging within hours. “I know everyone has become very fragile and overly-emotional lately so let me explain this calmly and slowly,” Johnson wrote. “I cover trending news topics on my show.”

He defended covering both the Massie allegations and online chatter surrounding Greene’s personal life and real estate moves in South America, insisting: “I’m entitled to my opinions on these matters. I serve my audience. That’s my job.”

Then came the knives.

“And unlike you, I won’t run away from my job when things get tough,” Johnson jabbed, before accusing Greene of cozying up to left-wing media figures and helping Democrats damage the MAGA movement from within. “Anyway, have a great time crying about this on The View and CNN,” he sneered.

That sent Greene completely over the edge.

“You are a LYING scumbag @bennyjohnson and just to be clear we are definitely not friends,” she fired back in a blistering rant that read like a digital flamethrower. “All you cover and elevate are trending LIES. And get paid to do it. Literally the most repulsive level of MAGA.”

Greene denied rumors she had “fled America,” explaining she sold her home in Rome, Georgia, because she and her boyfriend are planning to marry and she wanted to live closer to family. “And now I’m on vacation, gee what a scandal, you moron,” she wrote.

But Greene didn’t stop there. In a move that instantly escalated the fight from ugly to mutually assured destruction, she started tossing around rumors and allegations she claimed she’d heard about Johnson himself.

“Allegations about young men at conservative conferences?” she posted.

“Allegations that you got paid by Russia and Israel?”

“Allegations that you rip off people’s content and articles and pretend like it’s your own?”

“How about you cover those trending topics Benny.”

Johnson, clearly enjoying the chaos, brushed off Greene’s accusations as another “crash out” and claimed she was now parroting left-wing smears.

“What you said about me is evidence free slander,” Johnson replied. “But what I said about you is true.”

He then accused Greene of betraying Trump voters by criticizing the president and appearing on establishment media outlets. “These turned out to be lies to my audience,” Johnson wrote, referring to Greene’s past appearances championing border security, election integrity, and mass deportation policies.

“You turned on them,” he charged. “And that is true.”
