TOTAL BS!

WASHINGTON — Former Republican Rep. Barbara Comstock says the next administration should tear down President Donald Trump’s new Washington projects.
Trump has reportedly settled on a countermeasure: Build backups.
Comstock called for anything Trump “unilaterally puts up” — including his planned arch and “gaudy” White House ballroom — to be dismantled after he leaves office. She even suggested selling tickets to watch and using the proceeds to pay down what she called the “Trump deficit.”
The proposal comes as Trump pushes ahead with a massive new White House ballroom and a planned 250-foot triumphal arch near Arlington National Cemetery.
Upon learning that his successors might tear them down, Trump immediately ordered another ballroom and another arch.
“Very simple,” Trump explained. “They knock down one, we still have one. Maybe we build three. Nobody has backup arches like us.”
White House officials are now conducting an inventory of other Trump projects that could require duplicates.
Comstock’s proposal to sell demolition tickets also caught the president’s attention.
Trump reportedly called it “a fantastic idea” before ordering the Treasury Department to begin selling VIP PRE-DEMOLITION TICKETS for $499.
For $999, guests receive a commemorative gold sledgehammer and the opportunity to watch Trump build the replacement first.
Administration officials said proceeds will fund additional construction.
By Sunday evening, plans for the second arch had reportedly expanded to include a third arch protecting the second arch from demolition.
Trump has named it: The Comstock Arch.
This is TOTAL BS — satire inspired by Barbara Comstock’s very real proposal to dismantle Trump’s ballroom, arch and other projects and sell tickets to watch. The news is real. The TOTAL BS is intentional.
