Apparently telling J.K. Rowling she doesn’t get to decide who is a woman is one way to guarantee a very busy day on X.
The “Harry Potter” author once again found herself at the center of the gender debate after posting about women’s rights and the definition of women. That prompted an X user named Tracey-Ann to respond with a message displayed one word at a time:
“YOU DON’T GET TO DECIDE WHO’S A WOMAN.”

And then the internet did what the internet does whenever J.K. Rowling and the word “woman” occupy the same ZIP code.
The post exploded, drawing a wave of responses from users arguing over whether biological sex or gender identity should determine who is considered a woman. The exchange was approaching two million views as the debate spread.

Rowling has spent years publicly arguing that biological sex matters in areas including women’s sports, prisons, changing rooms and other sex-separated spaces.
Her positions have also generated fierce opposition from transgender activists and supporters, who argue that transgender women should be recognized as women and that excluding them from women’s spaces can amount to discrimination.

We’ve reached an extraordinary moment in human civilization.
Artificial intelligence can write software. Rockets can land themselves. Your refrigerator can apparently tell you when you’re out of milk. And we’re still holding emergency meetings on the internet to figure out what a woman is.
Somewhere, Rush is reaching for the golden EIB microphone. Because you couldn’t illustrate this absurdity any better if you tried.
SCIENCE decides, you imbecile. ONLT TWO sexes exist and only TWO genders exist – MALE and FEMALE and no there. A man cannot be a woman and a woman cannot be a man.
THAT IS TRUTH and we should never ever accept the LIE called TRANS, which is a mental illness called DYSPHORIA.
NO man can be a woman and no woman can be a man.
Children do NOT NEED ‘gender affirming – really gender MUTILATION” evil ruination. LEAVE OUR CHILDREN ALONE and every adult must stand up and refuse to accept this TRANS horror.
OUR children are perfect the way they are – STOP SUPPORTING the TRANS lie. Get men out of women’s sports, bathrooms, locker-rooms and START protecting bth our daughters and sons!
That is an adult’s moral duty!
