James Carville has never been mistaken for a Sunday school teacher. But his latest podcast performance could make a sailor reach for the soap.

The veteran Democratic strategist unloaded on Kimberly Guilfoyle, the U.S. ambassador to Greece and former fiancée of Donald Trump Jr., during an extraordinarily vulgar rant on his Politics War Room podcast.

His opening complaint? Guilfoyle apparently hadn’t followed his advice about how to handle wealthy men.

“How dumb can you be?” Carville demanded, calling her a “strumpet” and accusing her of failing to learn from first lady Melania Trump.

The tirade followed a Wall Street Journal report alleging that Guilfoyle asked Republican donor Eric Deters to pay a $100,000 American Express bill before her 2025 Senate confirmation hearing.

In purported Signal messages, Guilfoyle urged Deters to send the payment directly to American Express, allegedly telling him it would not appear in the usual records.

Guilfoyle’s attorney has disputed the authenticity of the messages. The allegations have not been established as criminal wrongdoing.

Carville wasn’t interested in waiting for the legal arguments.

“They send your fat ass over to Greece, and they forget about you,” he declared, before adding that Don Jr. had dumped her.

He then offered an especially crude comparison involving the first lady.

“You see, Melania gets the money up front. She gets the prenup,” Carville said, continuing with an explicit sexual insult directed at Guilfoyle.

And he wasn’t finished.

Carville predicted Guilfoyle could lose her position and warned Trump administration officials to begin leaking information before the November midterm elections.

“You better get right quickly,” he warned, predicting subpoenas and investigations if Democrats take control of Congress.

He finished by warning officials that their futures could consist of legal fees, testimony and court proceedings.

For all the profanity, Carville’s central allegation concerns a serious question: whether a prospective ambassador solicited financial help from a donor while discussing access or influence.

But his attack on Guilfoyle’s appearance, sex life and former relationship with Donald Trump Jr. turned what could have been a straightforward argument about ethics into a very personal spectacle.

MY QUICK TAKE

Carville had a legitimate news controversy to discuss: a six-figure payment request, disputed messages and questions about influence.

Instead, he reached for insults about a woman’s body and sex life, then tossed in Melania for good measure.

Imagine the reaction if a Republican strategist delivered that same performance about a Democratic woman.
