Brittany and Patrick Mahomes were seen with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce over the weekend, renewing talk about their relationship and prompting a dig from a former NFL player.
Social media frenzy erupted over Mahomes and Swift sitting separately at the Kansas City Chiefs season opener which followed weeks of controversy after the wife of star Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes “liked” a post by former President Donald Trump.
Former NFL star Antonio Brown waded in with a post on X in reaction to a photo of Swift hugging Mahomes with a smiling Kelce looking on.

The couples were seen at Flushing Meadows in New York City where they were on hand to watch Jannik Sinner win the U.S. Open over Taylor Fritz.
Back in 2022, Brown told Outkick in an interview that he would endorse Trump.
“I think Donald Trump is a good businessman and comes from a good family and has been a good president,” he said at the time. “I’ll endorse Trump.”
Brittany Mahomes came under fire for her simple “like” of Trump’s post outlining the 2024 Republican platform. She responded to the backlash on Instagram.
“I mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” she wrote. “There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
Trump gave a nod of thanks to Mahomes for “strongly defending” him.
“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” Trump wrote.
“With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless “leaders,” it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!”
