President-elect Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai offered the world a glimpse of life behind the scenes in Florida as the family celebrated a historic election victory.
In a video posted on her YouTube channel, the 17-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa praised her “hard-working” grandfather and said his landslide victory over Vice President Kamala Harris last week moved her to “tears.”
“Come along with me for election night with my entire family!” Kai Trump captioned her vlog.
The teen who stole hearts when she gave her first public speech at the Republican National Convention in July, just days after a failed assassination attempt against the former president, gave a look at the moments she documented leading up to the election. SHe leads viewers on the journey headed to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach where an election watch party eventually turned into a victory party.
“I haven’t seen my grandpa in a while because he’s been campaigning,” she said of her grandfather as she drove. “I’m super excited to see him again. He’s been calling me almost every other day. I’m ready to party it up tonight and hopefully we [win], fingers crossed.”
“I think he’s going to do amazing for this country. He works so hard and I don’t know anyone who is more hardworking and driven than him,” the teen added as she later showed footage of the family watching the election results come in.
Kai’s YouTube video offered a rare glimpse of Barron Trump, the only son of the president-elect and wife Melania Trump. The clip showed 18-year-old Barron watching election night results roll in with the family.

She recounted in one clip how she did not record the end of the night because the family was celebrating the victory.
I”t was just a really special moment for all of us. I’m extremely proud of him, I think he deserves it more than anyone in the whole world,” she said. “He really has worked his butt off every single day for the past eight years for this country.”

“After he started winning Pennsylvania I just started tearing up knowing he made it and he finally fought back and won,” she continued. “It’s truly motivating to see that every single day and have that as a role model. When I grew up I want to just be like him and fight like him.”
Kai posted photos wth her grandfather as well and one image on the golf course included Tesla/SpaceX billionaire Elon Musk captioned, “Elon achieving uncle status.”
