Jeanine Pirro was sworn in as interim U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C., and is already pointing out head-scratching problems with working for the government.
The former Fox News host posted a video message on social media where she explained why there is no water in her office water cooler. But, adding insult to injury, Pirro noted that even if the water was available, only those who pay a monthly fee can access it.
The video was captioned, “The federal government has money for everyone but us,”
“Hi everyone, it’s Judge Jeanine. I’m at the water cooler in the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C.,” she said in the video as she stood alongside the water cooler.

“And you may recall that the United States gave something like $44 billion a year through USAID for things like dance classes in Wuhan, China, and Sesame Street in Iraq,” Pirro continued, referring to the disbursements through the United States Agency for International Development.
“But here in the United States, in the United States Attorney’s Office, where we prosecute crime on behalf of the victims, on behalf of the people who are targeted by criminals, the U.S. attorneys, as well as the staff, in order to get water, they have to join a water club and they have to pay,” she explained.
“Today, they asked for our patience. Why? Because we couldn’t get water delivered today,” Pirro said, pointing to signs posted on the office wall.
“Today, there was no water delivered to the United States Attorney’s Office. And remember, it’s only for those who pay $7 a month,” she said. “Now, ain’t it grand to be a part of the government, and I’m just thrilled to be here.”
Pirro, who joined Fox News in 2006, served as the assistant district attorney and district attorney in New York’s Westchester County. She was the first woman to serve as a judge in Westchester County Court. President Donald Trump appointed her to the new role this month, saying in a social media post that she ” is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York. She is in a class by herself. Congratulations Jeanine!”
Her water cooler post generated plenty of reactions on X:

That’s the way it was at the VA too. I brought my own water in a large container that kept it cold all day. They did eventually hook up a filtered water cooler that worked out well.

I worked from the time I was 8 till I was 56, always had some type of job. In all that time. Only on some union only organized construction jobs back in the late 1970’s. That was the only time I ever saw an igloo cooler with ice water and cone cups available only in the summer. The rest of the time you froze a gallon jug and had your own water. It always came out of the kitchen sink. The judge is a snob and can get all the water she wants right out of the sink. She should be happy she doesn’t have to use a bucket and a well to get water. She is spoiled too.
