White House goes full MAGA arcade: Build the wall, deport migrants and punch junk food

by

BS BULLETIN:

  • The White House launched its own online arcade Thursday, turning some of President Donald Trump’s signature policies into retro-style video games.
  • Players can build a border wall, round up illegal border crossers with Tom Homan, punch unhealthy food and steer a bald eagle through Washington.
  • The White House says the games are part of an effort to communicate Trump’s accomplishments through a “culture of fun and winning.”

Forget Xbox. The White House has entered the video game business.

The Trump administration unveiled an online arcade Thursday featuring five retro-style games built around the president’s policies — and subtle, these are not.

One game, “Build the Wall,” borrows heavily from Tetris and challenges players to stack pieces into a barrier along the southern border.

The actual White House game greets players with “ZOMBIE BORDER SIEGE” before sending them to work.

Then there’s “Rio Run,” a Snake-style game featuring border czar Tom Homan rounding up border crossers, who wind up trailing behind him in orange jumpsuits.

The White House’s promotional pitch for the arcade was equally understated: “Build the wall. Deport. Fill a Trump Account.”

Make America Healthy Again gets the arcade treatment, too.

A game tied to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s MAHA campaign has players punching away unhealthy foods, including candy and seed oils.

Another game riffs on Flappy Bird, with players navigating a bald eagle carrying legislation through obstacles around the National Mall.

And “Trump Savings Tycoon” turns the president’s new children’s savings accounts into a game, with players scooping up money, gold and other valuables in front of the Washington Monument.

Eligible children can receive a $1,000 federal contribution to a Trump Account.

“This administration is laser-focused on ways to innovate and tell the story of the president’s many accomplishments in a way that resonates with every American,” a White House official told Fox News Digital.

The official described the arcade as part of a broader effort to contrast Trump’s agenda with what the administration called Democrats’ “dark socialist vision.”

“This is an effort to further contrast between a culture of fun and winning and the dark socialist vision Democrats have for America,” the official said.

Even the promotional rollout got the MAGA treatment. The White House released animations spoofing the loading screens of Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo. Another transforms the classic Sega logo into “MAGA.”

Yes, really. It’s an official White House website. And yes, you can actually play the games.

MY QUICK TAKE

I have covered politics for a long time, and I’m reasonably certain “the White House launched a video game where Tom Homan rounds people up while RFK Jr. punches seed oils” was not on anybody’s bingo card.

Washington has officially become impossible to parody.

At least they’re having fun.
