MSNBC’s Joy Reid says Nikki Haley lost Iowa because of racism in wild rant

by

In an all-too-familiar-sounding meltdown, the leftist media was triggered by the very solid performance of former President Donald Trump in the Iowa caucuses on Monday.

And over on MSNBC, it was the perfect opportunity for the “race lady” Joy Reid to postulate why the “brown lady,” former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley did not swoop to a win.

“It’s the elephant in the room,” she told her fellow panelists who included MSNBC host and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki.

“She’s still a brown lady. that’s gotta try to win in a party that is deeply anti-immigrant and which accepts the notion that immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country,” Reid went on, intentionally mischaracterizing quotes and the GOP platform.

The leftist host of “The ReidOut” claimed Haley was getting “birthered” by Trump, adding that “I don’t see how she becomes the nominee of that party with Donald Trump still around.”

The meltdown was not limited to Reid, however, as her fellow panelists could do little to hide their horror at real democracy in action. Host Rachel Maddow even explained to compliant MSNBC viewers that Trump’s victory speech would not be shown by the network in the name of the “democracy” leftists proclaim.

“I don’t mean to be again, too dark as you said on this, but if we are worried about the rise of authoritarianism in this country, we are worried about potential rise of fascism in this country,” Rachel Maddow lamented. “If we’re worried about our democracy falling to an authoritarian and potentially fascist form of government. The leader who is trying to do that is part of that equation… Is a much bigger part of that equation.”

“What a sign of petulance, cowardice and idiocy to refuse to air the victory speech of the candidate who won a landslide primary and could be the next president,” author Michael Shellenberger accurately summed up on X.
